On April 2, Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd. (BIBP) of China National Biotec Group Company Limited (CNBG) held a launch meeting for the 2024 special work on " Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement ". More than 50 people attended the meeting, including members of the leadership team, middle managers, middle assistants and budget administrators of various departments. The meeting was chaired by Jing Yumei, the Chief Financial Officer.
CFO Jing Yumei relayed the spirit of the special work deployment meeting on “Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement” organized by CNBG, and delivered a rousing mobilization speech. She emphasized that all departments must cultivate a mindset of "Living a Frugal Life" and improve quality and efficiency while ensuring quality, safety and compliance, and contribute to the company's sustainable development. Jing Yumei put forward three requirements for improving quality and efficiency this year.
First of all, recognize the situation clearly and attach great importance to it. At present, the company's operations are facing severe situations and challenges. All departments should give full play to their subjective initiative, fully participate, brainstorm, unite and cooperate to deeply understand the core points of improving quality and efficiency, strengthen management, and achieve results from the management level.
Secondly, advance quickly and act as soon as possible. All departments should form an implementable work plan as soon as possible with a sense of urgency that "Time Waits for No One" and organize and implement it immediately. Plan early, deploy early, advance early, and strive to achieve practical results by the end of the year.
Finally, take measures appropriately and quantify results. The quality and efficiency improvement projects submitted by various departments should be fully demonstrated. It is operable and implementable, and the final results can be quantitatively reflected through data.
At the meeting, the Financial Management Department manager of BIBP first reported on the company's operating conditions and the work plan for improving quality and efficiency in 2024. Major departments such as the Human Resources Department, Research Management Department, Production Management Department, Quality Control Department, Engineering Support Department, Information Technology Office, Logistics Services Department, Safety Management Department, and Purchase Department reported, in turn, the work plans for improving quality and efficiency.
Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Xuemei summarized the content of the meeting. Based on the operating conditions reported by the Financial Management Department, all departments are required to fully understand the operating challenges faced by the company, attach great importance to the significance and goals of improving quality and efficiency, and provide special rewards according to the formulated incentive measures for the incremental benefits achieved. The work plans reported by each department must be detailed, specific, and executable, and all departments must strengthen communication and learn from each other to implement quality and efficiency improvements.
For follow-up work, it is required to solve the remaining problems as soon as possible and continue to carry out process optimization, technology upgrading and quality improvement. Promote lean management and standardization construction, and strengthen the management capabilities of the entire industry chain. Improve work efficiency and accelerate the launch of new products and the layout of new technologies. Realize the conversion of scientific research into production and actively explore domestic and foreign markets.
At the end of the meeting, Zhang Xuemei stated that all cadres and staff should unite as one, unify their thinking, clarify their goals, seize opportunities in challenges, and create new situations in changing circumstances.
